Toddler Program · 12 months – 3 years
The toddler classroom supports autonomy, language acquisition, and parallel play through structured choice and daily outdoor time. Transitions are predictable and narrated so children understand what comes next.
Preschool Program · 3 – 5 years
Pre-literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning through intentional play, small-group projects, and a daily routine children can anticipate and participate in planning.
What a typical day looks like
A predictable, developmentally sequenced daily rhythm — published so parents know what their child is doing, not just where they are.

Arrival and independent exploration
Children choose from prepared materials as they arrive, giving each child a calm transition into the classroom routine.

Structured group time
Circle, language, and early literacy activities. Group size is kept small so every child participates rather than observes.

Outdoor time and gross-motor activity
Physical development is built into the daily rhythm, not treated as a break from learning.

Quiet rest and reflective activities
Rest periods are calibrated to age group. Older preschoolers who do not sleep engage in quiet independent work.

Staff share a brief verbal and written summary of your child's day at pickup. A real person tells you — no app required.

How are transitions between age groups handled?
Transitions are based on developmental readiness, not a strict birthday cutoff. The program director discusses readiness with parents before any classroom move.
How are staff-to-child ratios maintained throughout the day?
Ratios are maintained across the full operating day, including during outdoor time, meals, and rest. Specific ratios are published on this page and reviewed during the center visit.
What curriculum framework guides the program?

How do you communicate with parents about daily progress?
Staff provide a verbal and written daily summary at pickup. For developmental milestones and concerns, the program director connects with parents directly.
